My foray into dog collars started as a joke - I made these for my Dad's birthday for his dogs Pip and Ben. They are made from metallic snakeskin and leather. Dad loves them and so do Pip and Ben.
I was taught to make this belt by the amazing Leslie at Prescott and Mackay. It uses the same techniques as the dog collars and all my family are getting belts for Christmas. The best part of making the belt was learning how to use a strap cutter - a fantastic tool that cuts through the thickest leather as if it were butter.
